Thom Baum X Trash Tompsin Present: AVALANCHE

This EP started out as a small joint project between Thom Baum and Trash Tompsin that was originally intended to feature primarily phonk style beats (the first three tracks are solely Thom and Trash), but over the course of its production cycle saw features from the rest of the Mindstate, and a distinct personality of rhyming influenced by Final Fantasy 7 and the rebel group AVALANCHE: a band of misfits that are the game's protagonists.

Their main goal throughout the narrative of the game is to save the planet from the evil government/corporate entity known as SHINRA, a theme that the group has found relevant in modern times and has served as inspiration in a way for members over the years in relation to the game itself and our connection to it as individuals. HiddenVirtues contains a phonk vocal sample (not sure the original track, a resident phonk expert would probably be able to tell you), and vocal samples from Unreal Tournament 2004.
InteriorExpedition contains a guitar loop created by Baths and a vocal sample from Bones - SkeletonWraps
KeepsGoing has a synthesizer sample from an Amiga music producer. I'd have to track down the title of the original track for a full credit, but it's from a youtube video.
SweptAwayByTheLifestream contains vocal samples from Twin Peaks season 1 and a music sample from a Twin Peaks season 3 outro from Johnny Jewel titled "WINDSWEPT".
All other tracks contain no samples (as far as I know) and are self produced.
All samples were used with love and care and all respect goes to the original artists for their inspiration, the Mindstate loves and respects you. You deserve money.
These tracks were not made to impede on anyone's copyrights or musical talent and were made to help people discover the music I love.
